Pointy Boss gig number twelve, at The Vic Inn, Derby, on Thursday 13 June, was another good 'un, pulling in a support slot for Noose.

On a 'local band night' at Derby's 'premier punk venue' the audience was predictably small, but generally 'up for it'. The sound mix on stage was excellent — the best we've enjoyed so far.

We kept the set compact and crunchy, mixing up shiny new numbers like Walk Away and a revamped Put Me Down alongside Pointy classics including Baudeline and This Ends Today, before making way for headliners Noose.

A return gig is planned at The Old Vic in Nottingham in the autumn, hopefully with the Apocalypse Babys joining the bill, as opening act. Details here as soon as we confirm them.
